Donald Trump Jr. delivered a speech during a Turning Point USA event in West Palm Beach, Florida. To the delight of the crowd, he allowed his youngest daughter, whom he affectionately refers to as “Baby Chloe,” to come onstage. Don Jr. proceeded to ask Chloe whom she likes more: Santa or grandpa. Her answer immediately made the crowd go wild.
More than 3,000 conservative college students converged on West Palm Beach this week, where the third annual Student Action Summit, sponsored by Turning Point USA, was held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
“We’re not typical college students. We’re looking to be the next generation of conservative leaders throughout America,” said Aaron Eberhart, 21, of Minnesota. “We want to help bring bold solutions through Congress and the White House, and have them upheld by the judicial branch to help make our country better again, and have it led by strong conservative principals,” he continued.
“Standing on the sideline isn’t what is going to keep America as the front-runner in the world. We need people to step up,” added Eberhart.

The most notable speaker at the four-day event was Donald Trump Jr., who was joined on stage by a few of his five children. On Instagram, Trump said that his kids were eager to come on stage, where they were enthusiastically welcomed by the conservative crowd.
It was a one-liner from Trump’s youngest, though, which left the biggest impression. As the first son asked her whom she likes more, Santa or grandpa, the tot didn’t have to do much thinking before firing back with the best answer ever.
The first son explained on Instagram that “baby Chloe” and his son, Spencer, “just wanted to hang out with dad,” so they came on stage. As all speakers are acutely aware of, going off script can have disastrous repercussions. However, with an “amazing crowd of young and enthusiastic conservatives cheering on,” he decided to pose an impromptu question. [Source: IJR]
“I took a chance and asked Chloe who she liked more Grandpa or Santa,” Trump Jr. explained. “She went with Grandpa and the crowd went wild.”
Don Jr. also suggested during his remarks that the investigation surrounding his father’s campaign has been fueled by government higher-ups who have conspired to block the president’s agenda. “There is, and there are, people at the highest levels of government that don’t want to let America be America,” he said.
“My father talked about a rigged system throughout the campaign, and people were like, ‘Oh, what are you talking about?’” Trump Jr. added. “But it is. And you’re seeing it.”
He also asked the crowd to “imagine what would happen if we rolled back the clock to 2008” and a politically-compromised group of FBI officials sought to undermine a potential Barack Obama presidency.
“What do you think would happen?” Trump Jr. asked. “Do you think the media would cover that? Yeah. Do you think it would be brushed under the rug like, ‘Oh, it’s nothing, it doesn’t mean anything’? There’d be [a] revolution in the streets. So I’m glad that this is coming out now, because it is good because real people have to see this.”
